1. SSC Guidance Camp

A Guidance Camp was organized for the students of SSC and their parents from the Sewri-Byculla division. Prof. Karandikar gave valuable guidance to the students regarding how to crack the forthcoming SSC board exams, how to relieve stress, how to make a study schedule etc.

The camp was attended by an unprecedented crowd of over 2500 students and parents at Nare Park Ground. Other pressing issues such as exam-phobia of the students, parental pressure, their expectations, health and psychology were also addressed, which helped to greatly enhance their self-confidence.

Eminent educators of Mumbai like Mrs. Sonam Paradkar, Shri Sonawane, Shri Anil Shinde, and Dr. Chandrika Dedhia also expressed their opinions and experiences.

This camp solved many doubts of the students as well as of parents. In the last session of the camp, Shri Suresh Shiwalkar, President of the Guidance Service Cell, educated the students about the instructions on the SSC Board Exam answer sheets and holocraft stickers.

A Guidance Camp on the party level on such a grand scale had been organized for the first time in Mumbai. Thanks to efforts of my party workers, my humble attempt to facilitate deserving middle-class students from South Mumbai had become a thundering success.
